If we hit and sustain 55k, it would pretty much invalidate any previous tool/expectation from the past.
I got downvoted for saying 95% of addresses being in profit is a good local top signal, but I didn’t say what I would do with it. I didn’t sell anything. The point is if we don’t see any retraction with multiple historical technical and on-chain indicators suggesting that it’s coming, then that’s evidence we are infact in a “brave new world”.

The positive is that most of the buying lately has been consistent spot buying. Very little leverage being used. That bodes well for a continued upside.

I caught on to the cycle which probably means there is no more cycle

Unironically….might be true. I don’t know if ETFs will kill the cycle or exacerbate it. All these inflows could be outflows at some point, right?

Also there is no real threat of very significant selling. Some people might be worried about Genesis being approved to sell $1.3B in GBTC. That sounds like a lot but it is not. Even if Genesis put in sell orders for all $1.3B at once on the exchanges, it would only be equivalent to two days of ETF inflows. So it would cause a short lived dip at most in that case.
However, Genesis wants to make as much as they can off of this sale, so they will spread these out to not cause any selloff in price. The government Silk Road sell is about $130M, so it is pocket change.

For those interested in miners. Invest Answers just put out a new video comparing them all. Good stuff IMO

I’m curious how much bitcoin was being bought overall before and after ETFs
Like, are these actually new purchasers or are some old buyers just moving to ETFs? A pre-post would be cool

They'll downvote you, but you could be close to correct.
Like I've said for months, I think we go early (we are going early), and the exit liquidity is found as they get people to dca.

unlikely. Very very few people pay as close attention to crypto as you or others in this group.
90% of people have no idea whats going on and have NO CLUE about the Bitcoin cycle.

I have 1300 coins at around 0.60 that I bought and sat on a couple years ago. Hoping it keeps rocking

While I can't answer that question directly, I can give you some general info here.
Bitcoin ETFs are taking 10x more bitcoin off the market than we are making daily.
Read that again.
If we keep the same inflows into the ETFs through the halvening, the ETFs ALONE are taking 20x more bitcoin off the market than we are producing daily.
The ETF buying is beyond massive. It's been one of the most successful ETF launches in history. Period.

I have most of my BTC exposure in MARA in my trading account. Have CC's on all my shares and am playing with house money. Was wondering if someone with more knowledge than me can let me know if there are better miners that I look into. Watched the link that talked about miners and it looks like CLSK may be good. On my MARA I have CC's between $25 and $45 and also PUT's at $22.5. I am a novice on BTC and have been following this thread some and was hoping to get more knowledge. TIA

No doubt about that at all. It’s positive for sure and the proof is in the pudding.
I was expecting a dip to mid 30s that never materialized. BTC just keeps testing support and moving forward, even in the face of macro headwinds.
I’m honestly starting to be of the opinion we are in a “price finding” phase and pretty much the concept of resistance/support is null for a bit.

Here is an article kind of discussing this
LINK /
Says retail is declining. But they’re detecting this by seeing new addresses; you don’t need a new address if you’re buying an ETF because it’s the same address. So, this suggests at least some portion of existing buyers shifted to the etf.
