Just ordered the same tires. I have a 2” level. Do you have any rubbing with this set up?

did you replace the spare with the new size?
I'm thinking I will. I know it's 1" difference but If I'm out of town/state, I want my spare to match to a long distance home if needed.
You may not even have the same spare on your truck now with the oem wheels and tires. My 2020 has stock 20s and had 275/60r20 stock tires (maybe it was 265, i can't remember exactly) and when I got under it one day the spare was a 17 inch wheel and a much smaller than than 275/60r20 tire and its 701A IIRC
It could have been a covid batch truck though as it has a Detroit sticker (always had Kansas plant stickers prior) and it has a few things weirdly missing that my old XLT had (like the swiveling back head rest when you fold and some other things I cant recall at the moment).
TLDR: the level and tires will be fine on that truck, I know people with 35/12.5r20s on their stock 20s from that year model with a 2.0" level and zero rubbing.

What is the deal with the leveling stuff? Why is it popular?
a leveling kit will eliminate the "nose dive" look of most factory trucks and also allow you to run larger tires without rubbing the fender well.

Why would one not use the Bilsteins/Fox adjustable shocks instead of spacers?

I'll be needing new tires soon and have a 2" level. I went with 275/65/20 Nitto Recon Grapplers on my 2021 F150 and have been very happy. I've got a little over 50k miles on them and probably have another 10k miles left.
I was looking at the Falken Wildpeaks, but damn they are HEAVY. For the same size tire, the Wildpeaks are 67 lbs and the Recon Grapplers are 58 lbs.
I'll likely go back with the Nittos based on my experience.

Do those with leveling kits notice a change in mileage after the lift - esp highway mileage? Always heard that mileage was the driver for the rake.

When I questioned the dealer about the spare on my truck being 17 and the truck has 20 inch tires, I was told it’s because the spare tire space is not big enough to accommodate a 20 inch tire. Still not sure if he was lying or if he was tired of listening to me gripe.

More ground clearance, better approach angle, ability to fit bigger tires, and so your truck doesn’t look like a turd.

I dont tow trialers so I am not concerned about that if you tow you will squat.
For those that do carry heavy payloads and trailers with significant tongue weight, they make rear height adjustable air shocks “air bags”. Highly recommended, especially for those leveled or lifted. Not only will you not look like a tard with a sagging rear end, but your brakes will work and your tires will steer correctly and the rig will be stable.

I just assumed I got a covid batch that got thrown together since I got a pretty good deal on it, but even if I had the oem tires that came on it, I don't like the idea of having one 17" tire. I know it isnt permanent and "might" get you home or to a tire store but God forbid I should get a blowout, I'd have to leave it and take the tire and wheel and have someone take me to get a new one as I have much larger tires than the stock ones now. Ford cutting corners I guess.

While your truck is on the lift, do yourself (and everyone to be honest) a favor and change the rear shocks. I put Bilstein 5100s, and had I know what I know now, I wouldn't have left the lot without them. Totally changed the way the truck drove. I went from rear hopping to a point that was scary to being planted firmly to the ground. It still rides like a truck, but you actually feel in control of it.
