I’m headed to Destin in an hour. What is the traffic going to be in Mobile and then headed into Destin? Is it any less than usual this summer?

You have actual, real time apps that give you this information. You really just wanted to announce you’re going to the beach.

Does the traffic still get bad in Baton Rouge?

If there certain things in life that are guaranteed: death, taxes, and traffic at the Mobile tunnel are on the list.

Why are you asking here instead of Waze? Gonna mark the anticipated slowdowns on your paper map?

When you enter the tunnel everybody must wear their mask.

We went to Panama City Beach last weekend and traffic wasn’t too bad although you can expect congestion before you hit that stupid tunnel in Mobile.

It’s the same as always this year. Just have to deal with Mobile if you are trying to get to a condo at 4:00. So much better to leave really early in the morning and be in Destin by 10:00 to get a brief period of sanity in that area during the switching out period of 10:00-4:00 on Saturday.

When you get to Mobile, take the tunnel. No one ever goes that way.
