I'm a big fan of Wellbutrin, but usually recommend it for those whose depression includes anhedonia and/or anergia. It's also great for those who need help with cravings (smokers, substance abusers, over eaters). OP, doesn't sound like this describes you. An SSRI/SNRI may be a better starting point, or perhaps some therapy. I'd recommend both for PTSD. Please get a referral to a psychiatric professional instead of leaving treatment in your PCP's hands. Best of luck and I hope you're feeling better soon.
