I like the mask wearing as a fashion statement. I have several LSU ones and others to color coordinate with my wardrobe.

I hope wearing them stays around like wearing a tie. There’s no point in them either anymore but they help make the outfit pop.

0.04%

So what you are saying is that masks, increased sanitation, reduced capacity, physical distancing, and shutdowns had nothing to do with that number?

We can argue the efficacy of rudimentary masks, the lack of proper glove use, and if social/physical distancing are necessary.

The only fact is that various combinations of these factors have been in place nationwide for months. Yet, somehow you are quoting 0.04%, the infected popular number with current best practices, as a defense against why we don’t need to wear masks?

Ok genius.

I live in north MS. I don't wear them at any store either and haven't had any problems.

By your logic, I should have been dead already. FUD

You do realize that MOST of the planet will never contract it, right? The odds are pretty good you never will, either. But if Russian roulette is your thing, go for it. The day you spin one in the chamber, the odds are also really good that you’re going to have a rough go of it. Good luck with that.

Eta: 30% of those with COVID never had a fever. So fever alone shouldn’t be a sole determination.

The Lancet is a political rag that has nothing to do with science anymore.

If that’s where you get your information, I completely understand how you came to such an asinine opinion. Sad

I thought it was closer to 10%.

but I see you are from Georgia where the governor sues the mayor and then back off when numbers skyrocket and schools are closed.

As a liberal, I’m sure your surprised to be wrong. I’m from North Carolina. Masks are mandated here but most people don’t give a shite because they know they don’t make any difference and are just mind control.

If you wear a proper fitting mask and refrain from fricking with your face and mask while it’s on, they work. That’s why doctors fricking wear them to do surgery. They don’t want to sneeze in your body cavity.

This thread is a damning indictment of science education in our high schools.

I just read these threads and feel sorry for all of you. I feel as bad for the good little mask nazi sheep who ingest government propaganda like a 350lber at the Golden Corral as I do the intelligent people like Centinnel who have to suffer because of the aforementioned sheep.

I wear a mask only when I enter a clients office. Without fail, the mask is off within a minute or two after I breathe a sigh of relief that the clients aren’t wearing them. These are VPs and C Suite people at $200m-$8b year companies. It doesn’t matter what geographical market I am visiting in with clients,...the masks are never worn . Even in Texas(exception of Houston)and NC.

I am blessed to live in Georgia where masks are becoming more rare by the day. We had our first industry meeting and greet event today since March at a large ballroom in Atlanta. I am on the membership committee of the organization and for optics, we advertised it as a mask required event. We had 350+ people attend. Every mask was off within 5 minutes of a persons entry. Some of the people posting in this thread would have been appalled at the professional class as they exercised common sense...and freedom.

Man, if I had to deal with some of the sheep in this thread on a daily basis and hear their baaa...baaaa...sheep talk in person, my knuckles would never heal! LOL
