Matt Thomas "doesn't get the hate for Pelini".... cites lack of a spring and a depleted roster. He is worried we will get in a situation similar to Auburn and won't be able to find a better replacement

Do I think it’s possible that with another year and a full camp and a full roster Pelini could make us a much better defense than we were this year? Sure. Possibly. No chance I want him to stick around to find out though.

Someone else can do as good if not way better

Uhhhhh....the defense couldn’t get any worse. So worst case is the same as arse clown pelini. Almost guaranteed improvement.

It was a covid season! He needed more time to install his defense!

Coaches should have managed this better like other teams

Like just about every offense we faced. Everyone had the same issues. Palini just sucked. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many completely blown coverages winding up in 50 to 80 yard touchdowns for any team in my life. There was at least one or two a game. That’s coaching.
