I remember that flood well. My dad wanted to go check on a friend and had me drive him in my truck. I had water breaking over the hood.

I helped my dad pull wet carpet out of my parents' home on 10th St. Since there was 1/4 inch still in the house, it was much easier once it got going on that skim of water.
