re: What was the last sporting event you attended in person?

Last Wednesday night, (one week ago) Pensacola Blue Wahoos vs. Montgomery Biscuits. Went during week-long beach vacation at Pensacola Beach.

It was a lot of fun. The Pensacola stadium is right on (and looks out on) the bay. They were playing a one-time game as the "Pensacola Crabzillas" and wore special uniforms, intentionally the ugliest ones they could come up with. They actually had a cartoon crab on the pants seat:

They auctioned them off for charity; I saw a bit of the auction and the jerseys were going for about $200 average.

Had a very good fried mullet platter with fries.

For the opposing players "walk-up" songs, the announcer would just play a random, irrelevant song each time, such as "Barbie Girl" or Kelsey Grammar singing the theme from "Frasier"...

Baseball is rolling along just fine this summer!

Oops...forgot. I went to a Skeeters game a few weeks ago to see Bregman strike out and line out.

LSU vs Clemson watching the tigers bring home the Natty! I remember waking out the dome and saying if this is the last Sporting event I ever go to I’m good.

Told my wife ( no pics) the same thing the next day.
Fully planned to be back in tiger stadium this fall but now looking uncertain.
I’ve been looking forward to taking my son who is not yet 3 to a game but I will not bring him if I’m required or he is required to wear a mask. Just my opinion!
