No murdering the messenger! no power as of yet and it’s been over an hour. The wife (no pics) and I both called again and it’s as if the woman didn’t even document that she told us it would be an hour. Both people we talked to told us “trouble cleared” and that was the last update. The supposed update that was given to my wife at 12:30 seems to just be bullshite but I don’t see why they’d want to piss off a customer if the power won’t be restored. Your guess is as good as mine.

There are quite a few trucks working on Jones Creek, kind of near the Lutheran church.

Are there still crews working in this area? The came out late yesterday evening but have not been anywhere near this area today.

Yes, plenty. Look in Parkview Oaks II. They are actively working the transmission line damage

They had actually made good progress yesterday, but some jackass moved the barricades on Old Perkins over night and an unsuspecting Coke truck drove through this morning and ran into the low hanging lines

That's brilliant.

Here in coastal Mississippi, putting barricades up isn't enough. If the county closes a road for flooding, they bury the road under a 4 foot mound of dirt, then put up barricades.

I know it’s not BR, but I am amazed that power has not been restored anywhere near Range Road in Denham.

Entergy says they are 46% complete with assessment, and once the Assessment is complete they will tell customers an ETA on power restoration.

You're late, baw. They said this morning that power will be restored by Tuesday.

According to the linemen working at Old Perkins/RR tracks, that will get power back to Swamp Road and Manchac Place/Manchac Commons subdivisions in the curve.

Is this first hand or second hand info? If known, any mention of if this area of repairs will power any of the Bluff Road area?

I know trees are down around that area. Have you seen power trucks working on Range at all?

I have had two reports that trucks are working near Range/River Road intersection north of the high school. There are lots of trees down.

Got power back 2 days ago, lost it an hour ago, but some repairs on side streets in the neighborhood

Was without power for 3 weeks after Gustav even though Entergy said we had power a few days after
