Taylor made 300 series mini driver

Played a couple rounds with it today and really like it. Was having trouble with the driver and could hit a 3 wood no problem. Now I have a 3 wood on steroids.

Could a high handicap guy like myself use this like a 5 wood? Things have been miserable with my driver the last couple of weeks.

Sounds familiar. I’m a terrible driver of the golf ball but a pretty decent wood player. I have used the Taylormade SLDR 12 degree mini driver for years and have gladly sacrificed a few yards for better accuracy.

I honestly kinda like the idea of the mini driver. But for me it’s too expensive for the limited use case for it.
