The hustle and effort that he showed last night got my attention. He seemed to me to make a lot of good plays.

I've never seen an LSU MLB gives up so many extra yards after contact.

I wouldn’t say good, but he did seem to be the only one on the defensive side playing with any heart out there.

The entire defense played easily well enough to win. The offense though, a whole different animal

I especially like the way he just throws his body at people hoping they’ll fall over.

Yeah I loved him flexing his muscles to the camera after he stopped the Auburn RB at the 1 yard line.

He’s playing better and with more intensity but he is a step slow to recognize the play and does not tackle like an sec LB. We have not developed talent at LB or Safety and it is alarming.

He played very well, as he does every week.

I think that it is true that he has played much better. The part that stings is that he often is in the forefront of the negative as well. Not a great tackle attempt on the nix running TD. He still has a tendency to let the player come to him. Saw it a couple times again this game. He isn’t really aggressive when it’s time to be aggressive. Which is why people incorrectly called him unathletic when charbonnet ran past him all game. He is flat footed way to much.
