What's worse is the 2some hackers holding up 4somes and the marshals not doing anything about it. What's the point of having them if they aren't gonna try to improve the pace. Had a 2some in front of us a few months ago with a 3 hole gap to the next group and the entire course behind them backed up to a snails pace and the marshal didn't do anything but watch one of the guys chip the ball accross 5's green about 4 times while walking as slow as possible between each shot.

If I'm ever playing with some of my buddies that are just getting into golf I am making sure we aren't holding people up. We'll let any group we maybe holding up go. But for some reason that concept is unheard of from most groups of slow golfers. They think bc they have a tee time they can play as slow as they want and I just don't get it.

Conditions have never really been an issue with Carter

If they just removed one set of the mens tees and went with the up set it would have an immediate impact on the pace of play there. If you want to play it back, do so but the one ups there are entirely too long for most of the hackers out there.
