He was taken with a 19th-round flyer by the Mets after last year based on upside alone. Finally manifesting the potential has got to have scouts and front offices loving what they’re seeing

I’ve rooted so hard for Christian Little. I’m hoping he continues shining like he did these last outings!

I think every fan was cringing when he couldn't find the strike zone last season. But he stuck with LSU and LSU stuck with him.
So tonight you could feel it. It was the biggest moment of the year in my opinion.
The whole damned Box was so damned proud of him when he left the game. The standing ovation and cheers were something I'll never forget

Congratulations to him. Honestly, he should return next year; if he continues his upward trend, he will greatly increase his value.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work like that in baseball. Leverage is everything and seniors in the MLB draft have next to none when a deal is put in front of them. Sign it or don’t play baseball.

Maybe no leverage for the contract amount, but if he's better than last year he'll go higher.

Which is largely irrelevant, unfortunately.

What did he do last night that had all the doo doo diggers on TexAgs calling him trashy? All I saw was a dude throwing the game of his life and being pumped up about it. Wonder if they thought it was trashy when that little dweeb did his dumb little bat flip in game 1. Freaking hate those weird arse fans.

Why? You act like there are lots of kids who get immediately rich in MLB draft if they are drafted as juniors. The general goal is to get seen, get developed, get to the bigs. Only a handful get life-changing money when they first sign.
