Do you want LSU to go after an established P5 HC or a up and coming G5 HC?

I’d personally prefer we go after someone like Jamey Chadwell over at Costal. His offense is phenomenal. Others from G5 are the obvious with Napier and Fickell.

We’re going for a G-7 Coach.

If we get anyone, it seems Woody likes Sexton clients. That is where the list starts and Sexton usually takes advantage of the situation and Woody over pays.

Chadwell is a good coach but I don't think he has the connections to run a big program like lsu. Don't know how he'd fill out a staff. I think that's ultimately why south carolina and Tennessee passed on him

I have a sneaking suspicion that Tom Herman MIGHT finally be ready to listen to LSU.

Overpays? You mean he gets who he wants? Petersen. Jimbo. Would you mind overpaying for one of those? You think Washington or Texas A&M regret those hires? You upset we overpaid for Mulkey? GTFO with this overpay crap. You pay to get the best.

I’m assuming the downvotes are for Meyer, but this would be my top 4 as well. Kiffin #1 for me

See Nebraska and Scott Frost. The hot up and coming guy doesn't necessarily know how to manage a large program. LSU needs an established coach with proven success on and off the field.

It’s Petersen, and he isn’t coming here. If anything, he takes the UW job back if Lake continues to look like he has the last two weeks.
