Poor Aranda truthers. He was the real head coach in 2019! All O did was clap his hands!

That’s all O knows as far as coaching goes. His headset was probably not connected to the coaching booth.

He can come back after Matt House gets a HC job. Would take him back all day every day and twice on Sunday.

What is the hate with Aranda? No one was clamoring for him to be the head coach. It is a simple fact we do not win the National championship without him. He’s one of the best DC’s that has ever been at LSU.

Only thing O is up by 20 on lately is years on his ladies.

Where is O coaching after running LSU to the ground once aranda was gone? Surely some team would love to hire this savant?

I’m at the game and it is embarrassing to watch both sides of the ball. For a defensive guru his defense is awful. Saw him in the lobby this morning and he said they were ready…..for what I don’t know

100% false. Oh, there were absolutely a lot of people here and across the LSU fanbase who wanted him to be the hire, and they were out in force after game 1 last year.

That said, the factionalism is stupid. Dave was a great DC and he’s a smart coach. He was instrumental in us winning a championship. He did a great job of adjusting the defense to the offensive changes in 2019 and getting them playing their best down the stretch.

I just don’t think he’s interested in the big time recruiting game and that limits him as a head coach.

I don't understand the disrespect that he gets here. He was great for us and decided to move on when he had an opportunity, like all coaches do at some point. Why not just be thankful for his contribution?

It’s the same airheads that shite on him when he was here. There was always a crew that would act like he was mediocre here. Pretend they don’t exist

I think this is the real reason

Exactly. There were a ton of people here the week after they beat Ok State in 2021 clamoring for us to go after him.

I believe this, with his low key personality, is why he is struggling at Baylor as head coach. I don't think anyone doubts he was a helluva coordinator here, just like no one should doubt Orgeron was a helluva position coach through out his career. I like Aranda a lot, but I just don't believe he has a future as a head coach in todays game.

That’s correct, he didn’t replace the talent that Rhule left him. Not a terrible coach but not a good recruiter.
