He threw upper 30s. There’s no doubt in my mind he could throw today and be fine but the way things are now I doubt he’s available in Jay’s eyes

39 pitches. I would be happy to see him, but I would not be surprised if Jay holds him out. He is pretty conservative with the pitching and pitch counts. He is no Dave Van horn

According to Jay’s prior season’s comments, he should be available.
30 or more pitches and he’s unavailable in BTB days but since he didn’t pitch yesterday, he could be available in short relief today if needed.
