We're an injury away from being in a real bind.

Smith going down was a big blow and losing Poole didn't help.

Lost 2 bench players & the other bench players aren’t developing like anticipated. Kim will figure it out in the off season.

A typical WBB college team has what, 14 players, of which 9 or so are in the rotation.

We lost 2 of the 9 after the season began. A third is playing out of position (we took a chance, it's not working out). A 4th is a true freshman who has played like an All American at times but is currently going through a slump - happens with all younger players.

If we still had the minutes from Smith and Poole, and could give the starts some more rest times during games, we would be in FAR better shape.

I don't care what sport it is, if you lose 20% of your depth after the season starts, you are going to have issues.

Sa’mya Smith was averaging 23 min 12 pts and 8 rebounds per game. Kateri Poole averaged 22 minutes a game last year. That’s 2 significant depth pieces that we started the season with that are no longer available.

It looked like Poole was really out of shape. I wonder if that's why she got kicked off the team.

45 min a game between them. This means the other 7 rotation players are having to average an additional 6.5 minutes per game to cover for this.

If our starters had an additional 6.5 minutes per game in rest time, end of game conditioning would be NO issue at all.

Injuries, drama, and thinking HVL was a point guard is the root of these struggles

Your takes are always shite, even if they were in the middle of a thread. How about you stop cluttering the board with useless threads?

The fact that you don’t know the answer to this shows you haven’t been following this team all year. GTFO

But I kept reading on here that Poole needed LSU more than LSU needed Poole
