I realized how happy I am with the state of LSU sports

Just a random post, but as I've been perusing about the threads, I realized how happy I am with the state of LSU sports.
The LSU football team is just off a big bowl win and is only moving in the right direction, Kim Mulkey is dominating, McMahon is doing a tremendous job with what little he has to work with, and LSU Baseball is right around the corner. Overall, the state and future of LSU sports is bright. Much thanks to all those coaches, administrators, fans, boosters, staff members, and others who have worked to get LSU where it is today. It's nice to occasionally realize things aren't bad and to smile and take in in. Don't sh** on me for my appreciative post, I'm bored at work.
Other thoughts are welcome. Geaux tigers

Things are definitely looking up.
And when baseball gets going we're gonna have some swagger about us. That team is literally the most talented we've ever had, and they are going to make a mockery of the sport this year.

I am happy right along with you. Feels good to hear somebody say that instead of the constant bitching and criticizing.

I share your enthusiasm

I’m so happy Woodward is relatively Young and from BR. He’s going to keep us in a great position for a long time

We’re on the cusp of these being the good old days again

Very easily could become the golden era. Which is wild to think about because for the most part of the 2000s we have been pretty competitive in the big three sports. Minus a year bear or there.

I agree about all of the sports. It's a great time to be Tiger.
Can't help but think back a year ago when we only 39 scholarship players and no Quarterback for the Texas Bowl. Wow what a year makes.

Now that Football is over I am very excited about Baseball season. That is not to take away from Basketball or women's basketball but the Baseball team just seems to be special this year. It is a great time to be a Tiger!

Talk about unreal expectations.

I was at LSU in the late '80s and remember thinking in 1986-87 that this was good as it gets. A Sugar Bowl then Gator Bowl, Final Four then Elite Eight, and first two trips ever trips to Omaha.
I believe we are currently coming into that type era or better.
