State still has Ginn, now if we can knock him out early this could become a slugfest. I just hope one of our pitchers can be like Gilbert from a few years ago.

LSU is always in state's heads. There is some nervousness amongst their fans and players.

I don’t know. I think they were down to pitch small tonight in case they could avoid the loser’s bracket. Judging by some of the State posters they may throw at this point. I don’t think it’s likely but we will see

I don't want to get everyone overexcited, but over the last 6+ games (Auburn x4, USC, MSU), our staff ERA is 2.5
And that includes Henry's trial run/growing pains. Take out his 1.2 innings and the staff ERA drops to 2.1

Their fans are wrong. It was confirmed by there head coach they were throwing Ginn. Plumlee will throw Saturday if they win tomorrow.

The pitching for the entire tournament, for all teams, has been unlike anything I can remember. Back when they first changed to the news bats, and everyone was struggling to hit, the scoring was way down in this tourney, but this year seems like the scoring is even less than that.
