Anyone with half a retards baseball IQ could see this team was going through a serious slump of not hitting with RISP through a 6 week stretch where we played all top 5 or 15 clubs. Compounded with sporadic 1 inning pitching meltdowns when the rest of the game was pitched well. And we still had a shot in all but one.

It was such an outlier statistically, it had to dramatically improve at some point.

Find me a college team we can't beat when we perform n all facets of the game at our statistical median potential?

This team is way better than their record and what people think. And CJJ knows and stuck with his plan. We don't need kids to pitch out of their head like last year. We have the horses on the mound.

Well, this team has nowhere near the talent of the 2023 NC’s, and while I never thought it possible, Braswell’s glove stands a lot better chance of ending our season than Thompson’s ever did. The light came on for Thompson. I don’t think it will for Braswell.

All that notwithstanding, you have a point.

This team has talent.

Unfortunately we lost Crews and Morgan who were pretty much guaranteed to be on base or be clutch with RISP.

Then you had Skenes… with him on the mound we could have a slump at the plate as all we would need would be 1-2 runs.

Those were some big losses.

It’s. Crazy we had so many once in a lifetime talents on one team.

Very similar to 2019 football.
