I think a lot of people thought we would have growing pains, but man the ball didn’t bounce our way (literally). Think of all the games we have been so close in… Game 2 against Arky, Game 2 against FLA, game 2 against Vandy, etc. If we end up winning those games we have 12 SEC wins and we are all but a lock to make the post season. I am not saying we are now, but even dropping one tomorrow doesn’t matter if we can win the next two series. What a ride it’s been with this team, and we are finally starting to get some clutch hitting, freshman look like they are ready, bullpen has showed up, etc. Hard not to look back at those losses and wish we had some more breathing room. Geaux Tigers, let’s win em all!

TLDR: Let’s finish strong

That’s what makes baseball the great equalizer… sometimes rockets find mitts (Langford and Pearson), sometimes a bloop single wins the World Series (Luis Gonzales against Yankees).

The maturity of LSU this year is not to be taken for granted. Adversity does that. They’re moving in the right direction.

Oughta be a wild next few weeks. Buckle your boot straps, baws.

Agreed 100%. The team has matured a lot. I hope Jones stays, we have a good shot next year. Proud of the boys.
