That little difference in recognizing that the ball is dropping and taking off is the difference between scoring and not.

I really like Milam. If he’s withstood the pressure of LSU and the pressure of this season and been solid as a freshman from New Mexico playing middle infield…kid’s got it. Plus, Skip Bertman made a point to talk about him. That means something.

We said the same thing at the game. He did a great job of reading the play and scored easily.

I wasn’t convinced he would make the necessary adjustments in SEC play to be a factor this year. Dead wrong. He’s going to be a leader the next two years and I look forward to watching his career pan out.
