When was the last time LSU has three top notch starters, then pretty solid relievers, and a few dominate closers that they could rely on. I’m thinking it’s been a long time!

Last year? In the CWS at least. Three top notch starters is a stretch but no team has 3 aces.

The game of college baseball has changed, SEC strike zone is very small similar to MLB, the balls have changed they fly further. The bats are more powerful than ever under BBCore era. Home runs, runs, all up across the board.

2023.

Outside of Skenes, people forget how shaky pitching was for us during the regular season.

They were absolutely dominant in the CWS of course.

We did not have it in regular season play last year. Of course, we did when it really mattered in the NCAA tournament.
