Seems like she’s hitting that freshman wall, long season

Oh no…don’t you dare come on here saying LSU women can’t shoot. The nerds will put out shooting % charts as if layups don’t account for almost all our shooting %

If Williams shot like #23 for Auburn, LSU would make the final four and probably win the entire thing.

I agree. She needs to shed a few pounds as well.

We need her to be shooting in mid March, not right now. She has time to find it and get hot again. Rather her hit a slump in mid season than post season

Williams and Morrow both disappear in games and that is not a good thing, both of those ladies make LSU offense unstoppable when they are cooking with Reese. Williams just seems to not be able to get in the flow of the game lately

Watched most of the game and she was a 'spectator vice participant'. She quickly looked to get the ball inside which led to some errant passes. The girl is smooth & has game either from the dribble or her set shot. This team will need her contributions to advance far in the tourney.

She seems to be an afterthought more often than not, the second half of the season . Also, seems like she’s not shooting the ball as well as she was earlier in the season.

Correct, and the game plan was to get the ball inside to Angel.. as it has been for the last few games. MW has not forgot how to shoot, she is just not the option Coach wants to use right now, As we have seen she is capable of 40 on any night. Tough game, both for the teams and also to watch..

She played great defense last night which goes unnoticed by people who only know one side of the game.

I haven’t seen the women play much this season. If she isn’t shooting well can she play the point to free up HVL to score?

It's pretty clear, and even Kim mentioned it during her press conference, that WIlliams has hit the freshman wall. That is, she's tired because she's not used to playing this much and this late in the season, with double digit games still left. Over the past couple of weeks, her shooting percentage has steadily gone down. In fact, Johnson, who is the best guard on the team at this point, has a higher shooting percentage now.

She actually shoots by percentage almost exactly like Scott-Grayson. The problem for Auburn is they only get an elite Scott-Grayson when she plays against Mulkey and is trying to prove a point.
