He may not end up being better than Wade or Kobe, but stylistically, he more closely resembles Jordan than those 2.

Jokic is the best player in the NBA right now, and it's honestly not even close. The average fan doesn't even realize what they're witnessing.

Seems like a bit of recency bias. The surrounding cast of KAT, Gobert and Reid cause a lot of issues for defenses and don't allow as much focus just on Ant.

Brunson has way less offensive threats on the floor with him and I'd say SGA often gets more defensive attention also. Those are just a couple examples at the guard spots that are still in the playoffs.

He has yet to produce Derrick rose accolades. However he’s a baller. Halliburton was the best player in the league first half of the season according to the buzz.

I still think Jokic is best. But there's so many elite #1 guys in the NBA right now.

Jokic, Luka, Giannis, SGA, Ant. On any given night these guys will all look like the best player in the league. Then you have guys like Embiid, Brunson, and Tatum, who are all in that 2nd tier of elite players.

As a diehard wolves fan this is a crazy take

Ant is top 10 at this point. Excellent closer and has potential to be mvp caliber but he is not currently as good as jokic, doncic or Giannis

I think he’s the future of the nba given his trajectory and age, but he’s still young and inconsistent and makes dumb plays here and there

Though he’s be on one so far in these playoffs

Edit: all that being said, I’d take him over any other player in the nba right now, but that’s my biased take

You don't get more Jordan than Kobe. His game, way he spoke, down to mannerisms and the unwavering desire to be the best. Only real difference is the smoothness Jordan had athletically. Kobes was awkward at times.

If he stuck his tongue out on dunks....

We wouldn't have to speculate.

not so fast. jordan got along with his teammates a lot better. Jordan was always the best player in his team. kobe was not on most of his championships. their hand size was very different and that affected their games in every way. jordan was a much stronger person in his peak, more physical. kobe was tough mentally but much more a finesse player.

It just hit me that idiots around here like Kobe so much bc he played like MJ.

It really is a gay cult with these MJ folks.
