Bregman after walking on 4 pitches in his last at bat and watching Alvarez walk to leadoff the inning decides to jump on the first pitch. Which he of course grounds to 3rd for a double play.

Gilbert then follows up with a full count to Pena

Oh yea this is gonna be a Maddux. That fly ball by Loperfido was by far the hardest hit ball by the Astros all night

Good grief this team has no plate approach. And apparently it's by design. Foc announcers said Espada told them the plan is to swing early and often against Gilbert. Because that's always a winning strategy for this team.

Off topic here but remember all those walks that won the game for us last night.

Espada and his overly aggressive approach to hitting, which doesn't work, need to take a hike. It's a detriment to his own pitching staff. Stupid

The Mariners are actively gaming to take Framber to RF. 7 of their 8 hits are to RF. They actually have a team approach to hit how they're pitched. It's physically painful to watch what they're doing and then have it followed up by the Astros hackathon.

Man ugly from Framber. Couldn’t land the curveball early in the game. They eliminated it as a threat and hit the ball the other way.

Gets in the zone with the curveball late and they deliver the knock out blow on it. Oh well

This is over. I 'd be super pissed if I had paid to watch this bs. They all look like they closed a club last night. No energy, no enthusiasm, no f'ing leadership

I appreciate that they've made this obvious early enough to allow me to move along with my evening. No need to waste a Saturday night watching this garbage.

Well at least Yordan, of all people laid down a bunt to avoid the humiliation of a no hitter.

How come it feels like Gilbert has owned us the last two years and now today.

Because he has. Last year he went 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA in 2 starts

Maybe scrap this game plan against Gilbert next time ya see him.

Boo pretty much everyone that played tonight except Bielak. Nice job eating 3 innings and they are all clean
