Old veteran or the young lion?

Canelo has clearly been declining from his performance in his last couple of fights but he's still Canelo.

Mungia is an extremely high volume puncher with decent skills and can crack. Doesn't have one punch KO power but can overwhelm you. He doesn't have the fastest hands which could hurt him tonight.

Bonus: Benavidez knocks both of them out.

Canelo. Mungia hasn't got the resume against quality fighters like Canelo has and Canelo has beaten guys Mungia's size and larger, so there's no real size or reach advantage to be had by Mungia.

Gonna be a great fight. I’m predicting it’ll be closer than people are thinking. Canelo by UD.

Mungia got a little over extended on the knockdown

Lol at Canelo complaining about body punches on the belt, that’s where he does his damage

Scorecards won’t reflect it but it was a good, entertaining fight.

Yep that was a solid scrap. Canelo was just too experienced and seasoned. Best he has looked in a bit but I think Benavidez should be favored if they end up fighting.

Mungia represented himself well.

However, after the knockdown he stopped throwing those 6-7 punch combinations.

The kid will only get better.
