I’m not sure that’s confirmed, although I do believe the Wall is more of a magical barrier than a physical one. I think you can bring wights and Others across the Wall, but they need to be invited in like vampires, which is how the Night’s Watch members that tried to kill Mormont in that they were directly brought there by living members of the Watch. If it isn’t magical, I just don’t see why the Others don’t build a boat to get around the Wall or just climb over it.

Rewatching that episode is really kinda funny..
Jon and his walker-hunting party kill a wight, and all of the walkers he controls fall dead to the ground.. except one, who just stands there like a cornered dog.

Man I remember the absolute since of elation/nerves when that episode began. Was expecting to see something magical.
Instead we kept getting characters in hopeless situations about to die and then miraculously ok when we broke back to them.
