First two episodes dropped last night.

Solid. Still with the feels. Did a good job with Mullins' injury.

Their editors have to be running to beat the band to complete the episodes for this season in League Two that just wrapped up.

Ben Foster was made of cement in those first 4 games. Good thing he hung it up.

Agree, they should run these like Hard Knocks.

I have much lower interest in watching a documentary knowing that the season is already over and Wrexham won promotion to League 1

I followed each of their games to the extent of checking the ESPN app on Tuesday and Saturdays to see how it all shook out weekly, but it's still entertaining on a human interest level to see the players and the townspeople. I find the knowledge of their promotion an encouraging safety net.

Rob and Ryan are supporting characters at this point, IMO.

It's just crazy to think that the equivalent of a Single A ball team has the global following they do, thanks to the show. It would be like the Savannah Bananas having millions of fans across the planet. (Yes, I know they're not a MLB farm team)

The team's roster took a bunch of major cuts yesterday, including Ben Tozer and Rob Lainton.

quote:

First-team captain Luke Young and club captain Ben Tozer have been released by Wrexham in a flurry of moves announced by the club on Friday.

Also departing the club will be long-time goalkeeper Rob Lainton, defenders Aaron Hayden, Jordan Tunnicliffe and Callum McFadzean, along with Owen Cushion and Dan Davies.

"I'd like to thank all the players for their efforts over the last few years. They've all played a part in our success and I'd like to wish them all the best for the future," manager Phil Parkinson said.

The fact that he didn't even get a yellow card for that was ridiculous. Goalie wasn't even looking at the ball. The beginning of the season would have been drastically different with Super Paul Mullin on the pitch.

He did get a yellow. If it had been a match that counted, he would have gotten a red.

Dude, it's a real team playing real sports. ESPN spoiled this series months ago. Bitch to them.
