All the way back to "The Amazing Rythm Aces" when I was a teenager
It was some good guitar stuff with a different kind of sound and groove.
Then he did "Run C&W" They did Soul music "Bluegrass Style"
I loved that stuff.
There was a lot of stuff done between all that that I never heard.
I was just listening to some more of his stuff on youtube, he was a helluva writer
"Third Rate Romance" is a masterpiece. Probably came to him too early in his career.
For me, he seemed ultra talented. he could write, he could sing damn well and he could play.

This one means a lot to me: Dancing the Night Away
Stacked Deck and Too Stuffed To Jump are great records.

Russell Smith had a great soulful voice, but they had a guitarist named Byrd who was very good.
