I was at that Elton John concert. I had tickets for the shuttle bus but they were so overwhelmed they just gave up. We ended up walking to the Fair Grounds from Pan Am Stadium, doing a tight rope on the side curb of the Wisner overpass bridge.
That was a great concert. The Killer, Jerry Lee Lewis was the opening act.

Good friend of mine (RIP Murray) started flying the pork chop at JF 20+ years ago. He made custom pork chop pins, and would give you one if you gave him a beer 
He also owned NOLA poboys. Glad to see our friends are still honoring Murray at JF
