Haven't watched him tonight, but the stats look good. He making a case to get a spot?

Besides missing the guy wide open in the end zone, though it would've been called back anyway, he's been fine.

I mean, he has looked a lot better at moving in the pocket today and had a couple nice runs.

Nah, practice squad only.

1 Winston
2 Dalton
3-emergency Hill

There was a 75% completion percentage between the teams tonight. I think the first half was like 92% amongst Jameis, Dalton, Book, and Daniel.

I know the board is excited about how the first team offense looked, but man with numbers like that it’s hard to take anything away from the game.

Book is not an NFL quarterback

Not really. He is still far too scrambly and once he puts his head down, the play is over, he isn’t going to find anyone down the field and against a first string defense, he isn’t going to pick up any yards scrambling either. He missed a couple wide open guys when he bailed on plays early last night. Also, he still has a bad arm and below average accuracy. Your offense is extremely handcuffed when QB’d by Book. It’s similar to a very old Brees, minus accuracy, minus the ability to read a defense, minus audibles, minus elite QB sneaking and minus leadership. So basically, a terrible QB that might be able to lead you to 20 points if everything goes absolutely right for him.

Winston, Red Rifle and Taysom are all miles and miles better than Book at the QB position. It’s time to cut bait. Every game, he makes 3-4 baffling plays/reads that no NFL QB in their right mind would ever make.

Funny you say that because while I was watching two NFL teams last night, Book was on the field. And playing. And you're not gonna believe this...but he was at quarterback!!%#$!#

Dude finally had a pretty decent outing. I'll give him his props when he earns it.

I've been riding him for some of his crap (interceptions, over throws) but his stats are respectable, and he makes good use of his legs. Just wish he would do his progressions faster.

He had 5.4 YPA and that included one completion of more than 9 yards. Take that attempt away and he was 4.7 YPA on his other 14 attempts. All against backups.

His line sorta crashed at the end. He had a 128 passer rating with like 50 rushing yards when I posted.

The "vs backups" means nothing when he and his cast are at best "back ups" also
