He poo

Without our elite defense, he would be 0-8 as a starter.

He's our best option right now.

Now do the already winless Trevor Siemian.

I mean, he’s been a fun player to have on the team. Franchise qb? Nah. But I’m happy to have him around.

He’s 6-1 as a starter.

Taysom is a heck of a football player. He brings a lot of value to this team. I’m glad we have him.

He’s not the long term answer at QB, but then again, no one is saying he is. Payton named Winston the starter after training camp. Taysom was the 3rd QB to start, etc.

The QB debate has given us all these “he’s poo” comments when in reality he’s been an asset to this team, great story, great leader, etc. He has contributed to keeping us above water and staying in playoff hunt. He’s been competent, and he can run. It’s a shame all the hate he gets, but most of these fans are dumb AF so I shouldn’t be surprised.

I like him because he's seems like a genuinely nice, happy guy that loves to play football.

I don't like him as a full time qb but for now he is the best the Saints have.

This is the college QUARTERBACK that busted his arse making special teams tackles, blocking kicks, playing several positions, etc. to contribute to this team.

The guy that is 6-2 and capable as a starting QB. Good backup option if u ask me cause he poses a problem running.

But he’s poo cause he’s not Steve Young.

Define everyone?

Because most people understand what he is and isnt. Only 1 guy has a fetish for him.

He's a legit backup QB & a great football player.

He's been looking better in the pocket recently as well, so that's nice.

He's a good dude who is an awesome offensive weapon when he's not the starting QB

As the starting QB he is below average but at least has some usable skills in his running

You won't find a ton of people who legitimately think he should be the long term starter. But he has done a lot for this team and like I said, he is a really nice dude and does not deserve hatred or negativity

I ask the same about Winston but then people just start making animalistic noises and drool uncontrollably.

Well 1 guy threw 14 TDs in 6 games.

And well the other guy we went like 3 weeks without one

Taysom played very well against one of the toughest pass defenses in the league. They pressured him most of the game and he stayed pretty much in the pocket and delivered. If the receivers caught everything that he threw into their numbers he would have had a phenominal game. He's probably not the answer going forward but seems to be making consistent progress and that is good news.

Three weeks without Deonte Harris, Ryan Ramczyk, Terron Armstead, etc. and having to start Ian Book contributed significantly to the offensive woes.

Difficult not to like Taysom Hill and his exuberance playing football, especially playing with a fascia tear in his foot and a torn tendon in the middle finger of this throwing hand.
