It would be in Washington state. Prob pacific wings land. You can shoot 7 mallards there, and you will.

I hunted a few times with Jake Hartz on his place in Stuttgart several years ago. At the time when we were sitting in that blind in the flooded timber I thought it could not get any better than this. I know there are lots of places like this around but it seemed like a special place at the time.
I guess this property is probably owned by Bayer now. I know Monsanto owned it at one time. Real shame it did not stay in the Hartz family.

This is a damn good question...and will require some thought.

I actually still like some of the old hunting lodges that hunt marsh leases in southwestern LA. The area is no longer what it once was, but I still just love the process of hunting the marsh out of those places. I think that if you didn't hunt them every single day, those would be some stellar spots.

Haven’t hunted there but my brother has a few times. The pictures he took are incredible.

Use to go there every New Years with my Dad and Brother and some guys from Dads work. Good times and great place. Didn’t know the Hartz got rid of it.
