@CookPolitical ratings change

#PASen moves back to Toss Up. Oz’s negatives remain high but it’s clear that the attacks vs Fetterman have had an impact and tightened this race since we shifted the rating to Lean D in August.

Oz will pull it out, no matter what kind of BS they throw at him. Philly won't be able to manufacture enough votes for the massive day-of turnout that will send Oz over the top.

Oz better fricking win. If he doesn't, he and every prominent person who propped him up should never be allowed to show their faces in GOP politics ever again. If he loses, this would be the 3rd Senate seat (2 GA runoff seats) that certain individuals will have played a prominent role in us losing.

Oz's biggest problem, apart from being a shitty candidate, is that Mastriano, who is a fricking train wreck, might hurt him and other down-ballot Republicans.

When you add in Shitzburgh? Yes, they will.

However, I'm in bellwether Bucks County and there is not a lot of buzz around this election, at least publicly. I see a few Oz signs and a few Fetterman signs but not a lot of either. I think R's are pretty disgusted at their national (lack of) leadership so getting them to the polls to vote (nothing to do with Oz) is going to be tough. I think D's are seeing the out of control crime & inflation at their front door and are also quietly scared so that might keep them away in the burbs.

But, make no mistake about it, with possibly this state being the key to hold the Senate majority, no chance the mail in vote gets left up to chance.

We'll see in November. If OZ loses this will be the 3rd Senate seat the loser will have played a prominent role in us losing. Back in 2021 he paraded liberal grifters Lin Wood and Sidney Powell around GA and they told GOP voters to boycott the runoffs. People believed it didn't matter because the loser would be magically reinstated and Pence would break the ties in a 50/50 Senate, and that vomits like Romney, Collins, and Murkowski would magically vote the party line on every issue.

Hoping Oz pulls it out. Not sure the other 2 in the Repub primary were much better though. Kathy was kinda wacky and McCormick or whatever his name was was a Romney/Bush Republican who is a hedge fund billionaire.

Decision Desk HQ today also moved Pennsylvania back from Lean D to toss up

but they still keep their belief in the 50/50 split by moving North Carolina from Lean R also into the toss up category

ETA: DDHQ kept Georgia as Lean D

On what planet was Barnette wacky? She isn't a clown like Oz who has supported trans surgery and kissed the arse of Michelle Obama and Jussie Smollett. McCormick would've been PA's version of Youngkin who would've won over the suburban wine moms.

I'm not the one who is still embracing a guy who lost an election and played a big role in us losing 2 Senate seats we had no business losing. It's pathetic how people still embrace losers. It's time to move on.

Kathy had some tweets that might have not played well in a general and just seemed unvetted. McCormick is more liberal than a Youngkin and being a hedge fund billionaire is just about as unlikeable as being a tv show doctor. Idk we’ll see what happens but I’m not sure one was clearly more electable than others.

IF Fetterman actually wins then PA deserves the zany representation they'll get

and our leaders will continue to be laughing stocks of the world with less and less respect as we go

but .. I don't think that is going to happen

Exactly. I'd put PA GOP voters at the front of the line for blame. They could've nominated Barnette or McCormick, who were both polling better against Fetterman. But nah, they voted for a carpet-bagging, pro trans surgery, phony doctor because a loser, who they still worship, told them to do so.

Lesson learned: Smarten up and nominate better candidates.

Fetterman has led in every poll conducted so far, anywhere from 1 to 21 points. If Oz really pulls this thing out (unlikely), it may really be a harbinger of a w~a~v~e erection.
