And have you heard of the CHIPS act your president signed?
Can still be manipulated by dishonest forces.

Hikvision was put on the no-no list.
The prices were too good to be true. We had a bunch.
But we also had a bunch of Sony (Japan) and other manufacturers that were not Chinese, but scans showed they were still using the same chipsets from China, so it wasn't just Hikvision, it was pretty much all of the manufacturers had pee pee in their coke, per auditors.

Right now, the general public doesn't know what we don't know.
It's not just the mobos and the CPUs. There's the various modems, network ports and the chip architecture that are all susceptible to various backdoors.
Remember Hillary's homebrew email server. Chinese intel had it hacked to the point that they co-owned it.
Yeah, modems have been documented in those machines that aren't supposed to be connected to the Internet, except that they did updates via Internet.

As the Potato Head supporters would say, nothing to see here. 2020 was the most secure ever.

Why am I not surprised. Corruption galore. And they're still trying to take him out. So how long you figure before they pull a Slovakia PM Robert Fico style assassination on President Trump?
Did I read this right? Some of them Nazi's in the Ukranian Army have threatened President Trump?

How is this news? Name me any type of computer or electric part not made in China.
ETA- I've never understood why more Americans aren't constantly up in arms about everything being made in China. If China is supposed to be our big enemy, why the hell have we been pumping so much money into their economy since the early 2000s? Can you imagine doing that with the Soviet Union in the 60s, 70s, and 80s?!?

What does CHIP have to with chips made in China and installed in our voting machines prior to said CHIP act?
Stuxnet is not hard to replicate.

I am not entirely certain that hacking was necessary for the right price, or for restrained disclosure.

China now has Hillary's secret chocolate chip cookie recipe sent to Chelsea.

That was a feature, not a bug.
In the modern era, deliberately bad IT policy is the new briefcase dead drop at a remote park bench early in the morning, as witnessed in most spy thrillers

Dominion is toast
Our government is beyond fricked. No one with any power to actually do anything about any of this gives a shite about doing anything about any of this. I've long since given up on this experiment as a lost cause.

I thought I knew this (or did I just assume it?).

We've suspected a lot of this, but much of this is now confirmed outright.
