Republican businessman who is from Gonzales. Has a solid business track record, not bought and paid for which Landry 100 percent is and against Covid mask and vaccine mandates.

In the debate tonight, Waguespack IMO distanced himself from all the other Republican candidates. He was smart, to the point and actually gave the answer to questions asked.

Schroeder is a clown and Landry is part of the good ole boy club. He also couldn’t give straight answers tonight. I know we have alot of Landry fans and understand that, but take a real hard look at Stephen Waguespack.

Jeff Landry has my vote bc he was the only one fighting to protect our constitutional rights the past few years.

That is everything right now & he already proved he’s not afraid to stand up for the people & push back against government encroachment.

ETA…. Gonzales gives us a lot of RINOs like Clay Schexnayder.

Louisiana has a pathetic history of RINOs.

The fact that you’re voting for him is enough to make me consider Waguespeck

Agreed about Landry but Waguespack’s “I’m an outsider” shtick is a flat out lie, he’s been knee deep in politics for a long time. This state will continue to flounder regardless of who wins the election.

I don’t see anyone but Landry having a shot at the Governor as a Republican

Can you provide examples? Also, how will that translate to him turning around the shitbag economic state of Louisiana?

Landry is no different than JBE:

- bends over for the trial attorneys
- chases O&G to Texas
- supports government run healthcare
- loves the public education unions
- wouldn’t commit to no mask/vaccine mandates
- back tracking on abortion

I’m not sure why Democrats are opposing him

Landry did a good job positioning himself by joining the Missouri AG. Both Landry and Waguespack are conservatives. Landry is establishment and Wag is an outsider. So it depends on what you value.

In what way is he an outsider? He was the president of LABI. Does this just mean he hasn’t been an elected official before?

Anyone have a link to a decent recap of the debate? I missed it last night and the articles I read this morning basically only summarize the candidates’ positions on abortion.
