Where Trump needs the biggest boost is young men turning out to vote. Young women turned out to vote at record rates the past few elections.

Vivek has the appeal that cast new voters into the loop. He is coherent and speaks the “American Dream.” Not only can he help with young men, he can help with other men of color who usually wouldn’t vote or vote D.
quote:

Today, female Gen Zers are more likely than their male counterparts to vote, care more about political issues, and participate in social movements and protests

quote:

But while women were rallying together, many Gen Z men began to feel like society was turning against them. As recently as 2019, less than one-third of young men said that they faced discrimination, according to Pew, but today, close to half of young men believe they face at least some discrimination

quote:

It increasingly feels like Gen Z men and women are living on different planets

quote:

While women have turned to the left for answers to their problems, men are finding support on the right. Trump helped redefine conservatism as a distinctly masculine ideology, stoking grievances and directing young men's frustration toward liberals and feminists. There are signs the message is resonating: Republican affiliation among white men aged 18 to 24 jumped from 28% in 2019 to 41% in 2023

This^ and he can lose some voters. Some MAGA voters won't vote for a brown guy from India no matter what. I would, I like him. I just think there should be a rule that you have to be several generations immigrant to run for any political office.

We can't just hand HOA power to people that just moved into the neighborhood..

Four years ago I would have told you that was dumb but here's a true story.

I am friends with a guy who works for a Republican congressman. His wife is an attorney that works closely with the state GOP. She told me that she voted for Trump but really considered voting for Biden because Kamala Harris, girl power, etc.

It was shocking to me.

I wouldnt blame Trump at all if he did. Nothing will get him more independent looks than picking a woman.

Didn’t Trump say last week that Vivek wasn’t MAGA and not worth voting for?

There are pros and cons.

Vivek is the best insurance against those who want to harm Trump. The VP slot could also serve as a launch pad for Vivek 2028.

But, it doesn't really expand the vote base outside of MAGA, it puts in someone who could outshine the top of the ticket and that slot might waste one of America's best talents.

If I was running his campaign it would be Marianne Williamson. It would be out of nowhere and she's not completely unreasonable.

You could also say you're willing to work with the other side unlike Dems.

But I play to win and they don't.

I really like Vivek. But I tell you what, if it needs to be a woman, I am equally impressed with Sarah Huckabee Sanders, governor of Arkansas. She has been part of Trumps team before, big constitutionalist, and I have always found governor’s in general to be better adapted to executive management roles more so than say a senator for example.

For that reason, I think it’s Tulsi. Trump should position himself as the fair minded guy in the race, who is willing to work for the betterment of all.

They voted for a brain dead, dementia ridden, pedo that showered with his underage daughter. They aren't going to change their vote to Trump just because he picks a woman as a running mate.

This is why women shouldn't vote.

There's no way he'd dump Harris for a white woman.

Trump won't do well with a running mate who is better in basically every way than him. Vivek is out.
