It seems heckin odd now that it's been given a couple of weeks to breathe.

When it happened I figured that Trump was doing some "Bachelor" click bait thing where he'd eliminate someone every few days.

But what do you make of it now, lads?

This was originally reported by Bloomberg, which is 100% biased against Trump and main street.

If it is true then the only place for Vivek is FDA, clean that pharma captured agency up, or close it down.

That would be the perfect spot for him

Vivek was never ever going to be on the ticket. Not sure why you thought otherwise.

Intersting. So, we are supposed to believe that a man who became wealthy by owning a pharmaceutical company - which has never made a profit or a drug of value - should be in charge of the FDA to “clean it up”?

Keep in mind, this is the same man who owned a company whose sole objective was to generate a national database of vaccine takers. The same man who claimed that Bernie Sanders’s bill to make mask mandates federal law was “sensible”?

Vivek on Bernie

I get the guy can talk a good game, but do some of yall ever step back and look under the hood to see what you’re buying?

Under Trump, I think Vivek would be more effective in another role at a cabinet level where he is staffed and can undo the Dems damage. He is fully capable of dealing with issues impacting us on a large scale.

It's just your typical stupid Trump knee jerk stuff.

I believe this was probably just your typical Trump ramble that he may later contradict.

I don’t know but I don’t have a ton of confidence that he’ll make a good pick.

I did not see it. What happen? Did a reporter ask if Vivek was being considered for VP and Trump said no?

It's more like this:

Reporter: Mr. Pence would you consider Vivek for your VP?

Pence: No, not that this time but we are looking at a lot of very qualified candidates.

Reporter: Okay, thanks. Please let us know when you decide.

Reporter: President Trump would you consider Vivek for your VP?

Trump: No, not that this time but we are looking at a lot of fantastic candidates.

You think a "former" Democrat grifter is going to clean anything up while working for a "former" Democrat grifter?

Because Trump is going to pick an establishment cuck. It’s what he does.

FDA needs to be shuttered and re-built from the ground up along with most of DC.

What replaces it isn’t easy or partisan and needs to be part of a larger healthcare discussion as to what our ability to spend on R&D is going to be moving forward because pricing is directly downstream from that topic.

We simply cannot afford to spend the way we do on healthcare with our current mix of non tax generators and obese citizens.

The flip side is that the rest of the world does virtually no R&D so if the US stops much of our progress in treating diseases will as well.

Not sure there is a perfect answer but I do know the current model of high prices, lots of non-commercial patients and health care tied to employers with middlemen between the cost and the patient isn’t it.

Vivek is nit a natural-born citizen. Trump knows Vivek is ineligible.

I honestly don’t think Vivek wants the VP - I think he wants another cabinet position.

Also, I just think Vivek needs to pound the campaign trail because he explains everything so well which makes the non informed open their eyes on what all is going on in today’s America

As far as him owning a pharmaceutical company.... Who better qualified than someone who knows how it works from the inside?
It would be the exact opposite of former FDA employees going to work for big pharma.
