Sargent hasn’t scored against us in all 4 matches we’ve played and Norwich is 0-0-4 in those games so you know whats coming

Sounds like it’s not any different than the athlete names we’ve heard.

quote:

Hollywood megastar Will Ferrell is set to join the list of celebrity investors in Championship club Leeds United.

BBC Radio Leeds reports it is a minor stake and he will not be a decision maker at Elland Road.

The club have been owned by 49ers Enterprises since last summer, when they completed a £170m takeover deal.

Fellow actor Russell Crowe already has a stake in Leeds, external, having 'considered' making an offer to buy the club in 2015.

The current Leeds owners are the investment arm of the San Francisco 49ers NFL franchise and among their shareholders are a number of US sports stars, including golfers Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.

So assuming we actually remember how to play and win a match over the next week and a half, would yall rather west brom or Southampton?

Kinda hope its wba. Southampton has too much possession in them and i don’t like us off the ball right now.

Remember when we went like 10 matches without conceding from open play?

It’s tough to look at it with a level head with how the last few weeks have gone so on the surface I would say they both would be a problem but for different reasons. I think I would prefer WBA as Southampton just seems to be a better quality team.

Yea i dont want to play a team that is gonna wanna dominate possession. I think it would be tougher for west brom and their style at wembley vs when they schooled us at tHawthorns back in December. I really feel like if we can just get to Wembley we’ll have one of our best performances in us. I really hope the first leg against Norwich goes well so Elland Road will be at its best for the second leg.

Let’s say we don’t win the playoffs and we spend a second year in the championship

Is it feasible that we could have a better all around team next year even with losing some of the most talented players from this side. So being a more solid around side would allow us to return the primer league with a better chance of sticking?

On paper you can think about selling Summy, Georgi, Willy, Archie but replacing them isn’t always easy. There are good players out there but i would really like to keep this core together and build around it. They won’t be at Leeds more than another 2-3 years if everything goes to plan and we keep developing and consolidating and they keep improving. It would also be nice to sell with a premier league status vs championship.

As for ffp, between Adams, Sini, Harrison and Llorente…no matter what happens we shouldn’t have to be in desperate sell mode.

Would he want to go to the PL and fight for playing time at 18 or stay in the Championship as a sure fire every day starter 1 more year? I have no idea, just asking.

I heard on one of the Leeds podcast where they asked Eddie about this, he indicated they are happy with how the development is going.

I would say if Leeds put him in midfield next year instead of right back then he would prefer Leeds in the champo for one more year. At that point I can see him wanting to get a move to continue to progress if Leeds don’t go up

I think he’d still play a good bit. We def need a RB and (feels like we’ve been saying this for years) to bolster the midfield.

Maybe get a couple more experienced players as well so we aren’t essentially putting out an U21s side week in week out
