Anyone else have an Easter trip planned? Headed to Breckenridge in a few days. Spring conditions look promising.

TD is the last line of defense, which has proven at time to be the greatest.

I’ve made many contacts and have a good network for the West.

A little help from the Tigers would be lagniappe.

I’m headed West again to the Wasatch. The weekend of 4/19, if I don’t move to Bend first.

Yesterday was one of my favorite days at Palisades/Squaw all time. Got a foot or so both days Friday/Saturday. Large majority light snow. Skied lower elevation trees pretty much all day after a first lap on KT. Areas don't get good snow much this time of year so didn't have much traffic.

Looks to stay pretty cold all week so conditions should mostly hold up for you! Make sure to check out Silverado if it's spinning while you're here. Got opened a week ago or so and has been spinning most days besides this weekend with all the wind/snow. Area is massive with some great terrain, it's trip to first ski it not realizing it's been around this whole time.

Breck is the spot to be for Easter skiing.

My 23/24 season is done but I've got Breck on the agenda for next April for sure

Breck got 7 inches yesterday. More today. Some of our best trips have been late March into early April.

One of my best ski days ever was in the middle of April at Copper. Powder everywhere, with free refills all day off the Three Bears Lift.

Getting excited for Big Sky, they've gotten over a foot of fresh snow over the past several days with another 7-10 on the way.

Big Sky,

You ever eat at the taco truck in the ace hardware parking lot? I had a lifty and another local at different times really talking it up, but I didn’t get the chance to stop in.

Just left Santa Fe this weekend (no skiing). It was sunny and in the 60s our entire time there. Road mountain bikes in shorts all week. They just got 36” in 48 hours at Ski Santa Fe.

I’ve enjoyed riverhouse the couple of times I’ve been there, but there is usually a pretty good wait if you aren’t there early. Blue moon is also a great, low-key place for pizza.

Long arse travel day but finally made it to mammoth after about 16 hours. Question for the mammoth people- Is there a good lower mountain area to ski? The winds are ripping here and I doubt upper mountain is going to open tomorrow at all. Good news is it's snowing and expecting 6-12" overnight. Thanks

Do you like trees? The stuff off of chair 12 is great.

Yes love trees. Guy at the hotel was suggesting go to the village, take that gondola, do canyon, then 22, or 25. I'll wander over to 12, looks like it's by the main lodge?

I went in June last year, that section was closed. No experience there.

If you are at the main lodge, take discovery (kiddie lift) and stay to your left you will get to 12 easily.

You can park at the main lodge or the mill also. There are some cool runs and the terrain park off of mill.

I was up top at Snowbird and heard thunder clap after thunder clap. My friend said - at least there isn’t lighting when it’s snowing.

When we got down to Cloud Chair, lifts were on hold for lightning. We still give him shite for the no lightning thing.

When the top is closed, we just run the mid to lower face of the main lodge area between High Five Express and Face Lift Express.
