I got over Covid two weeks ago and my sense of smell still hasn't returned to normal. How long from your experiences does this last?

One friend said he still isn’t right after a year. Another got theirs back in 3 days.

Had Covid in July and mine still hasn’t completely come back. I can smell some things if I stick it right up to my nose and anything that I smell otherwise has a strong weird sweet/chemical smell.

It’s going on a year on December 27th for a friend of mine. She could smell nothing and it evolved to everything smelling faintly car of engine exhaust.
Crazy shite man.

It took almost 18 months for my smell and taste to fully recover to what it was pre-covid.

Well, looks like this might last longer than I expected. At least I don't have to worry about whatever variant they come up with next (not vaxed, well naturally vaxed now)

I had a very mild case, not sure if that matters, but lost it on day 6 and got it back in about 2 weeks.

Had Covid January 20th. Taste came back at 8 months. Smell is not yet 100%. I can discern certain smells but some things have the weirdest scent I have ever experienced. I actually started a thread on this a few weeks ago. Piss, shite, farts, coffee, salad dressings with vinegar, barbecue sauce, hand sanitizer, gumbo, peanut butter, and many other things smell like a combination of coffee, soured red wine, and a metallic accent that I can’t describe. All of those items literally smell exactly the same. I am so fricking pissed beyond belief because I don’t think I will ever be right again. One of my greatest qualities used to be my sense of smell. It has saved my life more than once where an ordinary person probably would have died. I once smelled a buck in the woods before I actually saw him. frick China, frick Covid, and frick Joe Biden.

13 y/o daughter (no pics you pervs) going on 6 months and just now starting to get hints of smell coming back.

Frick Chyna, for coming up with this bug.
Frick Fauci, for paying them to do it.
Frick Joe Biden, for trying to mandate vaccines that don't do shite.
