I likening the Watson trade to what Dallas did to the Vikings for Hershal Walker.

....Because Dallas turned all those pics into a three Superbowl dynasty

Not saying Houston is Super Bowl contenders, but they made out good

Thank God we didn't give up all those draft picks for one player.

Hey it might work out for the Browns, I just don't see it for several years.

Watson's got to play in the same conference as Mahomes, Carr, Burrow, Jackson, Herbert, Wilson, and Allen

I’ll never understand y’all acting like three firsts are too much for an elite qb in his prime. Especially when the Saints are consistently around a 500 or better type of team.

What would you give up for a prime Brees?

I very much prefer the idea of an elite starting QB. The draft is always hit and miss. Not having a top tier caliber QB sucks.

Except Walker is a RB. Watson is a potential franchise QB. Also you realize there have been other trades like this?

Watson ain't no Brees & wont every be but I get what ur saying. IF (big if) U knew that Watson was as dedicated & committed to winning & being a franchise QB then Hell yea you do it, no doubt.

If nothing else the way Watson & his crew played this makes me relieved he's not a Saint. After claiming the decision would be based on which team was best suited to win now. Its pretty clear it was all about the $$$!!

It's crazy. 3 late first rounders is nothing.

Houston is one of the worst franchises in all of sports and Cleveland has a very good roster and just got a young franchise qb. I honestly don’t know how some of y’all make it through a day being this dumb.

I don't like ESPN, but they even compared this trade to Dallas/Vikings.

At what price? Deshaun Watson trade might cost Cleveland Browns more than money draft picks

I would've liked it better for Houston had they been able to get a player or two from Cleveland like Kareem Hunt

3 1st isn't too much for Watson.
3 1st and then paying him 46 million a year is too much imo

Yep

Too much guaranteed money

The picks are meaningless. Give me an elite QB all day. But the $ aspect hinders your ability to surround him with talent.
