Just returned from Exumas.
Blu on the water is not on stocking island. It's on the main land. It is accessible by boat and car. Very good choice for lunch or dinner. Dinner reservations are required.
It's a little tricky by boat. There is a dock, but the dock sits about 4-5 feet off the water, and requires some help getting on the dock. I dropped my passengers off, then anchored about 30 yards from the dock and swam back.
If you boat for lunch, there is an unbelievable sand bar directly out from blu, about a 2 minute boat ride. You can see it from the restaurant.
We ate lunch at blu, then boated to the sand bar for the remainder of the evening.
Great boat lunch spots:
Main land
Blu on the Water
Rusty Anchor (at February point)
Stocking Island
St. Francis (Snappy Turtle Restaurant)
Chat N Chill (get the conch salad)
Kahari Resort (Peace and Plenty restaurant)
It's a drive, but Santanas bar and grill at the far south end of the island is an incredible location.
Have a blast!
