Go to Fraternity House.....drink leftover booze/ keg from night before

Get disgusted with stale beer
Head over to Library for drinks
Go to Rally's
Head to TA's....more drinks
Walk back across Highland, grab a beer at the Bayou
Head over to Murphy's
Catch ride to Sport's....if Billy the owner was there, tell his fat arse to f - off.....be asked to leave.

Thanks for clearing that up. Canes was after I left BR since I was only there from 84 to 88.

Another one I don't think has been mentioned farther north on Highland is Shanahan's that was another bar on the west side of Highland near where I believe the Campus Crossings apartments are now.

35 years is a long time.

was that the one next door to the chimes?

i remember walking in and 'how soon is now' by the smiths was playing and my jaw hit the floor.

damn LSU (well KLSU) had a HUUUUUGE impact on my music tastes that still resonates 30 years later.

eta also caught midnight rocky horror and that weirdo john waters movies where the drag queen eats dog shite at the end at the theater by the chimes.

I never remember Taco Bell burning down. I remember parking was terrible and would force us down the street to Wienerschnitzel.

I remember it burning down and they just never rebuilt it. I wish they had because I frequented that location often.

Pretty sure there was an A&P in the main strip down from Murhpy's in the mid 80's. Anyone remember if that is correct?

Also, Spaghetti Eddies was over next to the McDonalds if memory serves. It was legit.
