This. I stay away from south LA public during any open deer rifle season. During early bow season it's pretty easy to get away from folks. If you're still seeing survey flagging you haven't walked far enough.

It definitely depends on the wma from what I’ve seen. I mostly hunt Sherburne which is packed the majority of the season, and an absolute war zone during gun season. I bought a camper last season to travel around and explore new places and it was unbelievable to me how little effort people put in on some of the wma’s in our state. I won’t say which ones, but there’s definitely places that don’t get the pressure that Sherburne and yancey get.
