William Tecumseh Sherman would fail you if you did bring Union #2 pencil to class.

I went to the athletic building on Thursday before the first football game on Saturday and bought student season tickets with a check so I didn’t have to watch early morning games on Jefferson Pilot.

And after the game (sometimes before the end), we'd leave the interior of the stadium, step just outside, turn and go back into the dorm section of the stadium; I'd put a sock on the door as a message for the roommate and get down to business.
And know we all know the origin of why people leave the game before the end..... to bang.

My first game as a student was a 77-0 win over Rice. It was the game that featured Carlos Carson catching five passes for five TDs. Steve Ensminger threw the first four. One time Dolphins Super Bowl QB Steve Woodley threw the last one.

The student section did the, "What comes out of a Chinaman's arse?" cheer many times!

Attended the 1981 final four in Philly as a student.

Most memorable game in the student section was the night it rained oranges.

I would pick up Bailey's because I was too lazy to drive to the north side of campus to get Canes.

Attended the 1st LSU basketball game in the NEW Assembly Center as a freshman.
Also, participated in many panty raids.
Yeah, I know I'm old but still enjoying life.

When I was at LSU, we camped out on the ramps of the PMAC to get in the Student Section to watch Shaq and Chris Jackson play.
