re: 10-2 is the floor and 12-0 the ceiling. We have a senior laden team now but not next year.

8-4 is as good as you can hope for realistically. IMO

Quite a few of those juniors and seniors won't even start. And I guess you missed the memo on Brennan quitting football or Emery being suspended again. Even freshmen come in much better prepared for college ball than in the past. Several of them will start or see a lot of playing time.

10-2 is the floor and 12-0 the ceiling.Your title should start out as O-line is elite and will be the strength of the offense, makes as much sense as 10-2 and all the other

I'm going to enjoy the ride watching a team progress as the season unfolds and the entire staff using what they have to get above 500. whatever that is.

I'm not saying 10-2 is the floor, but I think that's where we end up. 8-4 is what I think the floor is.

FSU - W
Moo St - W
Auburn - W
Florida - W
Bama - L
UAB - W
Southern - W
New Mex - W
Tenn - W
Ole Miss - win 2 of these 3
Arkansas - win 2 of these 3
A&M - win 2 of these 3

No these are the types that will scream they knew we made a mistake hiring Kelly when we go down a touchdown.

Heh heh heh heh! OP is a funny guy. There sure is going to be some really really disappointed people come season end. Going to a bowl after 7-8 wins is going to be a big deal for me plus a bowl win to get the BK era really started next year.

Isn't the Vegas over / under on win total 6.5 or 7? and many of your "floors" are higher than that? Seem like you should be running to the betting window.

You bring up seniors eh. Well let me remind you that’s this is the same bunch that Kansas State beat. Brain Kelly will lucky to finish this year 7-5.

This is such a dumb argument. My junior year of highschool, we went 2-8. My senior year, we returned the same coaching staff and 21 of 22 starters, went 10-3 and lost in the regional championship.

Experience matters and players improve. There are examples both ways.

Ask the average LSU fan to name one eligible running back and then wait for the crickets…

But LSU isn’t returning the same coaching staff.

You're right. They're bringing in a much, much better coaching staff.

You hope anyways. But what’s Kelly’s record against SEC teams? He has continually been able to control the schedule he plays at Notre Damn by staying independent. But I will agree with you on the coaching part. Anyone is better than Farmer Fran.

Why is a navy fan in LSU business, BK has never had the same talent he’s had at LSU that he’s gonna have this year, I think 7-5 is the floor, also when as navy beaten anybody, I believe lsu has 3 nattys in the last 20 years, 2 with coaches that aren’t the same caliber of BK that’s why everybody believes he will succeed at LSU, you’re a hater if you say other wise, I don’t believe he’s ever had a WR group like the one this year
