I agree. That pissed me off to read that.

Jeez guys.

I concede to the point that I could have taken the same shot on the doe in question as I did with the other deer that I was able to drop in place (which isn't guaranteed by any means) with the totally incapable cripplemore but to say that a shot just a little father back, which equates to more of a traditional lung shot, is somehow totally unethical seems like an overreaction. I mean damn, I wasn't aiming for the belly. I guess every bow hunter in the woods is a POS since next to no deer shot with a bow is going to die in place.

Next time I'll be a lot more descriptive of where on the deer my crosshairs were when I pulled the trigger for you guys.

On another note, all the animals taken with my 6.5 have been with a 129gr. interlock Hornandy American Whitetail cartridge. It has worked very well as the pictures show. I have however considered switching to a larger grain.

Those guys assumed you shot it in the arse on purpose.

While it seems incomprehensible, I'm sure there's some trashy SOBs out there who do it.

Your initial comment seemed to indicate wounding for the sake of dog training. You don’t need my approval but thanks for clarifying
