He may suck as position coach on defense, defensive coordinator, and a head coach BUT Peveto is a good special teams coach.

CFB Stats

17 Punt Returns for 75 yards for the year - 4.4 yds per return

Opponents - 15 Punt Returns for 151 Yards for the year - 10 yards per return

It's not just that they can't catch the ball...they cant defend a punt return or return one as well.

Tell me you don’t keep up with LSU football without telling me you don’t keep up with LSU football

Every single aspect of special teams has been a disaster. Can't blame that on depth.

We fielded a good special teams unit last years bowl game with 39 scholarship players and many Waltons on special team.

Yet with 70 scholarship players and a full year of practicing and preparing we still can't do anything correctly.

I would rather them come out and say special teams coaching needs help. Instead just excuses. Pretty infuriating and insulting to the fanbase

In comparison to Polian, Peveto is a special teams genius.

We couldnt even catch a ball because Polian had guys altering their hand placement. I know there are many Polian apologists on here, but his special teams were horrible this year plain and simple.

Look at ND, they had horrendous special teams under Polian. They were elated when he left, hired new ST coach and now have #1 special teams in country.

Yes, several people blaming Polian special teams failure on lack of depth. Yet last year we had 39 total scholarship players and walkons who didnt sniff the field nor practice much in special teams did a pretty good job in bowl game. Polian comes in and special teams is disaster since game 1

Bradley Dale Polian needs to go.

Ol' Bradley Dale didn't seem too bad as a special teams coach. It was the co-DC thing where he was in over his head.

Great so he can frick something else up. How about stick his little nepotism arse in an admin position that can still help with recruiting? He has no business coaching anything on the field.
